November blog catch-up series: The finale

OK, here we go. The rest of November at warp speed. :)

There are always LOTS of parties and dinners at our house these days.

More of those sweet sisters.

Remember that stomach flu I mentioned that we came home to after our "anniversary" trip? Well, this is what stir crazy looks like after you've been stuck at home for days on end and finally escape for some cupcake goodness...

Early in November, we performed as a family at the Adoption Celebration that the agency I work for hosts every year.

As you can see, Amelia comes out of her shell quite nicely on the stage.

"Please, people, don't rush the stage."

I was at a meeting one day and came home to find child labor violations. Ha!

Mike said they had a blast, and they actually did a great job. Who knew?

Our best attempt at a photo of all the cousins at Thanksgiving in south Georgia. Yes, mine are the two being completely uncooperative. Brilliant.

Wearing daddy's socks. If you look closely, you'll see her feet are actually on the ground. The ankle of the sock is just still sticking out from when Mike wore them.

After a failed attempt last year, we finally made it to the Pink Pig this year - an Atlanta tradition. I will say that if it's not something you grew up doing (apparently it used to be a much bigger attraction and longer ride), it's not really all that worth the effort, in my humble opinion. We've have had far more fun experiences that involved far less effort. BUT, I'm glad we did it so we can say we did. ;)

The only pic from inside the ride that turned out even remotely well. It was very... pink...

Christmas preparations:

Yeah, Mike forgot the tree was on top of the car when he pulled into the garage. He cleared it by millimeters!

We enjoyed having a full-size tree this year after going pint size the last couple of years because of our pint-sized, adventure-seeking kiddos. They did really well, actually and only gave us slight heart attacks a couple of times.

Making Christmas cookies with daddy.

And coming in December's posts... this year's Advent Calendar:

As I write this, there are two days left in 2011. Wonder if I'll make my goal of being caught up by January 1? To be continued...
